The Finnish logistics company Nurminen Logistics Oy acquired Essinge Rail AB in December 2024. Essinge Rail is now a subsidiary of Nurminen Logistics.

Nurminen Logistics is a strong player in the Nordics - the Nurminen Nordic Hub service package® connects Finland, Sweden and Norway with regular rail connections.

The merger of Nurminen Logistics and Essinge Rail has expanded the range of services offered to customers. Together, we will be able to offer our customers a wider network and more versatile rail transportation with covered wagons and containers between Continental Europe and the Nordic countries. Essinge Rail already has extensive less-than-container load services in Europe, which is a perfect addition to Nurminen Logistics’ offerings.
