At the end of June, the organization "Science Based Targets initiative" adopted Essinge Rail's climate targets for greenhouse gases including CO2. The approval means that our goal is scientifically based and in line with the Paris Agreement of 2015.
We are committed to reducing our CO2 emissions by 50% per year by 2030 based on 2018 entry values. The target includes Scope 1 and Scope 2, and that we will measure and account for reductions made for Scope 3. The goal is to help global warming stay at a maximum of 1.5° C.
We want to show that we take our mission seriously and that our climate goals are based on the latest science in climate research. Clear and clear goals with careful control and follow-up will lead us. We are already well on our way to achieving our objectives. There's nothing to wait for.
