Solar cells at the terminal in Frövi

On January 23, our solar cell plant in Frövi was commissioned. The plant is 255 kW and is estimated to provide about 215,000 kWh annually, which corresponds to the consumption of household electricity in 40-50 larger homes. We expect to be able to run our entire business with our own energy. This involves charging forklifts, operating offices, weather gates, dehumidifiers, indoor and outdoor lighting, and electricity and engine heating for staff cars. In the future, our shunting machine and trucks will also be powered by self-generated electricity as far as possible. What we don't use, we sell to Linde Energi and buy back electricity on days when the sun fails us. Incidentally, Linde Energi's electricity production is 100% renewable, using only sun, wind and water.
